Someone found a beagle and gave it to my husband. The dog got a long well with Liam and was immediately there all the time. After it went well, i got an esa letter from his pyschiatrist for our apartment complex. The professionally trained ones are quite an investment. The dog has been very good for Liam and us as well in spite of my initial worry it would go badly.

There are places that train dogs to be an ESA. I would look online for someone near you that does this for a living. It can be very expensive though. I researched getting one a few years ago & the cost was around $15,000. I’ve heard one of the best breeds for an ESA are golden retrievers because they are easily trained. Sorry I can’t be of more help.
