When I worked at a Montessori school, my boys were enrolled in the infant and toddler programs. Well, I was the preschool teacher who worked after 6:00 PM and brought the students to the office at 6:15. There was another teacher, my friend who was responsible for the infants who were picked up after 6:00 PM. My son really didn’t like her, and would cry everytime he was around her. I think he was about 16-17 months. He was an easygoing baby, and didn’t mind the other teachers, even the ones he rarely saw. I’m thinking it was her loud voice and strong body odor? She doesn’t have a friendly face even though she is one of the sweetest people I know, if that makes sense.

My diagnosis didn't come about until just before my 31st birthday, but my mom has told me I would jump up and down in my crib at nap time as a baby. I was also diagnosed with ADHD at 25. No surprise, there! :)

My son had regression which means he was developing normally and hitting all the milestones at an appropriate age. There was nothing out of the ordinary until he was about 2 years old when he began to lose language/words and started to act differently and stopped making eye contact, etc. Still very upsetting to me when I think about it.
