Thanks Garry. We tried it. Evan was going back to his mom this evening, so I didn't get to observe him for long. But I did take a minute to have him sit back and extend his legs, so I could manipulate his feet and ankles, and press on his heels a bit. I'm guardedly optimistic that Dermoplast may be helpful!

BTW: I took a look at your posts to the Team. (I'm still trying to adapt to how this website works.) I'm vicariously looking forward to your son coming back to you tomorrow!

As to soldering ... I've NEVER been able to master it, despite many attempts over the years. Re doing it for plumbing - I'm really enjoying my recent use of PEX and Sharkbite connectors in lieu of soldering.

Garry, I was going to guess that! Great minds obviously think alike. Though I owe my brilliance to the brilliance of my teacher, Evan.

Hey Garry,
We're gonna try your DERMOPLAST idea today. Dumb question: is there a reason you spray it on outside of socks, and THEN turn socks inside out - versus turning socks inside out, spray, and then turn socks back rightside in?

Yeah, I suspected the weighted-trunk might only help with rear-wheel drive. Maybe bags of sand on top of the hood! :) Seriously, I hope you and yours are well through the weather.

Thanks Garry. Do you have a bag or two of sand in your trunk? My friend in Michigan puts weight on his rear wheels for more traction in snow.
