I’m a third grade teacher. Daily behavior charts work well for students who are targeting a specific behavior goal. If it is in the IEP, the teacher has to abide by it. The resource teacher/counselor should be there to support as well. Find out what will motivate him and have him work towards small goals throughout the day related to responsibility. Best of luck.
