When my daughter was 11 years old, she took my car keys and went out and sat in the driver's seat of our car. I realized it pretty quickly and went out there. She was trying to figure out how to get the car started. I opened the door and said, "Where do you think you're going?". She said, "Target". Oh my gosh! Funny, but also very scary. We just gotta keep a close eye on these little tricksters.

It's a really difficult thing. With my son, I did meds. I try to hyper vigilant. I tell everyone who works with him about this tendency. Behavior therapist are working with him at school but there has only been a small improvements. There is Angelsense and air tags. Some local police departments may have monitoring programs. I wish I had a better answer. It's a scary thing.
