My son has gone to the dentist on a couple of occasions with my husband. It's a pediatric dentist and my husband tells me that he's comfortable there, follows directions for the most part and allows them to look in his mouth, something he usually isn't cool with.
My son was a handful at the dentist when he was younger the screaming and crying. Now at 25 years old he let's them take xrays and clean his teeth. He has never had a cavity. But he had surgery to remove his wisdom teeth top and bottom both sides.
Ash has never let dentist brush teeth. She has be completely under anesthesia sedated every 3 yrs that's when dentist does x-rays, cleans teeth n takes care of whatever needs to be done.
