A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question đź’

Hello everyone! This is my first time posting to this forum, but I've been a long time lurker. ;) I have a 6-year-old daughter who was diagnosed with Autism 2 years ago. New York City Vs Northern/Central New Jersey Vs Miami For The Best Early Intervention Program?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question đź’

Our toddler has been diagnosed recently. We currently live in New York City, however, due to our job we may need to relocate to Northern/Central New Jersey or South Florida (Miami Metro). What area has the best early intervention program for toddlers? Also, we are considering getting another job to avoid moving from NYC, if it turns out NYC will be the best option for our child. Thank you very much for your suggestions.

A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question đź’

This article describes successful programs that may not be able to continue if changes are not made in Pennsylvania
http://chestnuthilllocal.com/blog/2012/07/25/au.... I am interested in providing info to DPW and the PA Legislature, so that they realize this should not happen. Many PWA are functioning optimally in the current programs and will be seriously harmed by institutionalization. On the basis of cost to the State, alone, the existing programs cost about $100,000 less per year than… read more
