Anyone near San Fernando Valley, CA?

Seeking advice from Parents in Plano ISD or Frisco ISD in TX

We live in Lewisville ISD in TX. Looking to move to Frisco or Plano ISD if they provide better Autism related programs in schools? our son is in 3rd grade now.

Anesthesia experiences?

I am a nursing student as well as a mom to a 7yo boy with Asperger's. While talking to one of my instructors who also has a son on the spectrum it came about that both of our kids had, at various times, undergone general anesthesia(mine was once for adenoid/ear surgery, and once for an MRI). It also came about that both of our kids had difficulty coming out of anesthesia. Are parents in Pennsylvania aware that funding cuts are threatening some successful community programs for people with autism?

Any recommendations in Tampa FL area for an elementary school for son with autism?

My 4 year old son should be starting kindergarten next fall. He is currently in a full-time ABA program. I would like to send him to an elementary school for kindergarten. Can any parents give me any recommendations for public elementary schools in Tampa FL area that have good programs in place for special needs/ autism? My son is nonverbal and is not full on potty trained ( he needs to be prompted to use the bathroom ).

The help group in Sherman Oaks los angeles

Hi everyone, I'm looking to see if i can get any feedback on the help group schools in Sherman Oaks, california specifically Bridgeport school (moderate program).

FL Sunshine Health ABA

I applied for Healthy Kids for my youngest and he was approved but only for the full pay plan with Sunshine through Medi-Kids. Does anyone have any experience with them and know if they cover ABA? Thank you!
