Methyl B12 Nasal Spray

Hi! I have been super researching vitamin B12 for my 3 year old son. He is verbal but still delayed and has some social interaction delays. Do I need a prescription to begin the spray? Can it be at all harmful? Has anyone saw changes in their children after using the spray. I know the injections are superior but not sue if it's for us. I don't even know where to begin on all this. He has no guy issues, eats super duper healthy, and is potty trained. Any advice from parents would be… read more

If Your Child Responded to Methyl B12, How Long Did it Take to Work?

For those of you whose children responded to the methyl B12 injections, how soon did you notice a difference? My DD is participating in a research study and we won't know until the end of October whether she is getting the mB12 or the placebo. I gave DD her first shot on Thursday night, and so far haven't noticed anything different. With some of the other biomed treatments (acetyl-L-carnitine, Coenzyme Q10, DMG) she had noticeable improvement… read more

'Risperidone' , 'Omeprazole' and 'Hydroxyzine'

'Risperidone' : What's your Experience.
'Omeprazole' : What's your Experience.
'Hydroxyzine' : What's your Experience.
What I mean by that is, How did your Child react to each.
Did it disrupt their Sleep?
Did it make them have Psychedelic experiences? (if mixed with Melatonin)
Did it make them want to tear off their skin?
Did they Urinate Uncontrollably?

Tongue ties

My son is 4.5, and was recently diagnosed with a tongue tie by a specialist. It requires weekly myofacial therapy and daily tongue, cheek exercises pre and post operation- for months. Has anyone had any experience with this and what results did they see after?

Has any one done vision therapy ?

We had eye exam today , no physical issues but says he could benefit from vision therapy
What they explained was similar to what OT does . I am open to try vision once a week but they didn’t really explain what his issues are and exam was pretty much similar to OT. Eval
Then they said needs 36 sessions .

Any one has any inputs ?

therapy and behavior treatment

My son diagnosed on Sept with autism level 2, we're living in the US but we're non-citizen.
I want to ask if anyone has the same situation?
if yes, Did Medicaid accept to cover (therapy, behavior, speech, etc..) for your child?
or what should I do so my son can start his treatment?
Thank you.

Advice traveling with kids for the first time this holiday season.

Best advice for traveling with your kids. Ages 10(high functioning ASD), 6 with speech/language and education delays and 3 articulation issues( but doesn't stop talking, lol). Car ride is approx 6hours but potential traffic as over a holiday weekend. To a new place with my parents and brother, possibly having extended family visit. My parents just bought a new house out of state and we are going to visit. Also down to one iPad at the moment, so… read more
