Thank you so much for the advice. Speech is not one of our issues, but I'm going to check into ABA. 😊
Okay my son's regular pediatrician showed back up to work after long break she has a son with autism and she recognized some things off back about Tyric. She had him retested thus far with the speech therapist and neurologist we just had not done the psychiatrist. He is no longer on med's for seizures. When I had taken him off about a month ago he had urinated on himself the first night and he is easily agitated. The teacher has noticed that he cannot work independently because he would get so… read more
@A MyAutismTeam Member. The Pediatric Neurologist Dr. Frank at Norfolk Va CHKD ruled out the seizures. He said that his EEG is normal. So they told me to stop giving him the medication. The next… read more
My 12 year old ASD son refuses to go to school. Last year before his diagnosis the school got involved and he had to sign an attendance contract. This year it seems they don't care and won't try to help me to coax him to go. I am frustrated and thinking about putting him in homeschool. I really don't want to as he has an IEP in place and they are working on his social skills which he needs desperately but I am running out of time and options..
I can understand how you both feel. As Daniel's mom, my heart breaks everyday when I have to force him to go to a place that he hates so much. He has many written refferals and has been made to fill… read more
Jus family that's all
We currently live in Southern California, the cost of living here is high not to mention the property taxes are crazy! My son currently receives speech therapy twice a week. No aids in the class. Thank you !

... Can it affect the symptoms after anesthetics wear out? I know this might sound too much like a silver bullet, but for second time we experienced changes on her behavior - for better - after the drugs wear out. Has anyone ever experienced anything like that? She seems for focused and incredible eye contact. That too might wear out by tomorrow but still, I'm curious if we are the only ones ever feeling that.
Thanks.
I think you might just have opened a little Pandora box for us. Thanks.
I will like to know of any good pediatric doctor in woodridge for my ADHD, Autistic, nonverbal son who is 7 years old. What are some good schools in these areas.
If you could start or do it all over again which career/job path would you pursue to provide the beat care for your special needs child?

I haved read an article that said that circumcised boys has more chances of developing autism, I feel extremly guilty, please give your thoughts about this issues. Thanks a lot
My don't see how that could be. Doesn't even have anything to do with the brain
We'd prefer not to drive north of Stafford but are willing to drive toward Richmond. He already gets some medical care in that area.
