Has anyone had any experience with the Path Family Center in SI, NY? Any insights, please.

I'm in Iowa and just got approved for the mental health waiver. Anyone else get services as well like this?

I have a three year old who will be four in February. I found this wonderful site after my eight year old son was diagnosed with Asperger's. I look forward to connecting with you. Hanen Centre offers training on More than Words, but it is geared more towards the professionals (very high fee). I have heard there are some agencies who provide training to parents on this. Does anyone know which agencies?

My 3 year old started a preschool program at the end of September. It is at a Child Development Center with both neurotypical kids and kids with varying degrees of special needs. I have an IEP meeting Friday. J was suspended out of school for 1 day (yesterday) after a "meltdown" at school. In my opinion, the behaviors/details are no different from any other documented incidents from this year that have led to ISS. I am looking for specific "behavioral manifestations" of ASD and ADHD. I need advice on what kind of doctor to get my son into. There are so many different types I feel kind of lost. And also exactly what blood panel test should my son have. I know I want him tested for allergies, vitamin deficiencies, mineral deficiency, and metals such as mercury, copper. The doctor I really wanted to take my son to in Pittsburgh has a 5 month waiting list. My son needs help now.
