Interested In How Parents Get Their Child Intensive Services (ie. 30-40 Hrs A Week ABA And Speech Therapy) And Still Work?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

This is what was recommended for my 3 year old son as an appropriate intensive treatment. I am not sure how to go about getting this level of intervention. I am starting by having him assessed for serviced through the county/school district. I am sure they wont want to provide that level of intervention. We do have Kaiser insurance starting September 1st so I will pursue what I can with them as well. I just dont understand how people can still work and have that level of therapy for their child… read more

MMR Autism Link CDC Whistleblower
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

It looks like CDC whistleblower has gone public with his role in covering up data that showed 3x ASD risk from MMR for African American children if given before 3 years of age. Need Eating Disorder Clinic Near Chicagoland Area For High Functioning Autistic Daughter In Early 20's
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

Our daughter is 20, upper spectrum/high functioning autistic, has anxiety and depression. Seem to have diagnosis of eating disorder. She periodically limits food intake, has abused laxatives, self-harms, and views her thin body parts as "fat". She periodically cuts and hits herself. We are looking for a clinic that can treat her based on her medical issues, not solely her behaviors. We live in Illinois. Also, what do we do if she refuses to go to the treatment? We don't have guardianship… read more
