Grants And Scholarships
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

I am looking into a social skills summer camp for my son who is formally diagnosed with Asperger's and severe ADHD. Looking for help to find a grant or scholarship to help pay the extraordinary fee. We received a small grant last summer, but we lived in a different state. Any ideas???

I was also told to contact (which I did) our school district because some districts offer grants/scholarships for camps, but you have to ask and apply. Our local one is a Warner Scholarship.

If you are involved with any social services agency they may be able to help. I was able to send my son to drama therapy camp with some help from the agency that provides his psychotherapy as well as financial aid from the camp. It's worth a try.

Hey everyone! Received another grant through Autism Puzzle here in VT to get my son assistive technology. The grant was worth $400. Also, through Chauncy Warner was approved for a swim lesson session through our local park district. Thanks to all for helping me think outside of the box!
