I am new here also. I have 4 children on the high functioning end of the autism spectrum ranging in age from 9-23. I would love to be on your team and have you on mine. Any information we can share would be great.

I am a single mother with twins that are autistic, and they need me 24/7. I don't know how we prevent burn out yet either. But I am trying my hardest not to melt down by trying to get rest by canceling a unimportant appt., do thing that are only needed, and do what works for us.

My ds is high functioning also.
