CF is a walk-IN-THE-park compared to GF.
Well, we are not going to have to deal with that I don't think. The gluten free side has become second nature for us now, I was just worried about finding milk he likes. I tried coconut milk this morning and he was not fond of it. Or the soy milk, or almond milk, but I will keep trying different ones until we figure out what works for him. Thank you all so much for your answers!
Completely agree with @A MyAutismTeam Member, GF is so much harder to do and you are already doing that. My daughter is GFCF, she loves Pacific hemp milk. For cheese we've been liking Daiya that's made from tapioca - http://www.daiyafoods.com/. Yogurt has been the hardest to substitute so far, we are eating the So Delicius coconut milk yogurt but she does not like it as much. Good luck!
I switched DD to GFCF back in December when she received her diagnosis. It actually hasn't been as hard as I originally was afraid it might be. The biggest thing is learning to read labels, which you are presumably used to doing with the GF. Rice milk I bake with but for drinking my DD prefers coconut, hemp, flax, or sunflower.
It was completely terrible for our family but I still hear people have good results. It simply only starved my son for two months. :(
