Does anyone know of any schools in Illinois who will work with children on the spectrum? I live in the southsuburban area of chicago and have just had an issue with their school that has left my two boys without placement. I don't want them to fall behind after making so much progress. I am willing to relocate even out of state if need be.
I am not sure if Easter Seals does ABA, but they have schools in Rockford, Tinley Park and one downtown. I interned at the one in the city several years ago and thought it was great.
@A MyAutismTeam Member, @A MyAutismTeam Member, @SheilaCarneyDamron, @A MyAutismTeam Member I really appreciate all of your help. I will not let all this great info go to waste. Please keep the info coming so that I can get my boys on track. I am so grateful and so thankful for all of you. God bless you all.
Saint Charles, Geneva, Batavia, Kaneland, etc. are part of the MidValley Coop which is great!
I know of a few in the suburbs: chicago education project (www.cepautism.org), KESET in northbrook, alexeander leigh center for autism in crystal lake.
