Nabi 2 Tablet
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone have experience with a Nabi 2 tablet? I am trying to figure out which tablet would be best for my son (I would be using it, too, so I dont want one just for kids). I would love to hear what everyone has to say about their tablet and how it has held up after being abused by kiddos! Thanks :)

If your son needs on ipad as a communication device, the best one to get would be an ipad. And if the Dr recommemds that he should have one you can have the Dr write a prescription for one and you can get one for free. Im not sure if you would need one for that reason but if so, and ipad would be the best way to go. Hope i helped :)

We had a more generic tablet at first, it was from HP, but it was like computing on toilet paper compared to the iPad2. The iPad is just so amazing for all its variety of apps, and so many are beneficial to kids on the spectrum.

I have a kindle fire. It has a lot of learning games on it, and I also use if for books and games. It was a lot cheaper that the iPad and I love it! my 3 year old now knows all his colors, letters, and shapes. we r now looking for other games for him to learn with. :) do some looking into what games are offered for what tablets. then you will know what one to get. :D

I got my 5 year old an IPAD2 and it works wonders. It has alot of free learning games and I use it too when he takes over my laptop. It's a must have in the home.
