Frederick, MD

My daughter has not yet been diagnosed with an ASD, but the psychologist she has been seeing has been suspecting Asperger's. My daughter is 2 1/2... will be 3 in March. She is currently already receiving OT in our home through our local infants and toddlers program. I would love to know, for those of you who have a child diagnosed with AS, how old was your child when s/he was diagnosed? What were the symptoms/issues that lead you to seek help and an evaluation? What sort of "tipped you off"?

Early education is when I started hearing about it. No official diagnosis until he was 11yrs old.

I wish I had had this link prior to our diagnosis because I would have been tipped off sooner. https://www.m-chat.org/

Is this for a general ASD, or for Aspergers? I am curious about Aspergers specifically...
