I guess I would try to have some with some kids NOT on the spectrum too. You don't want them copying bad ASP behaviors. You want them to blend in with the rest of the kids for when they start school.

A healthy mix is best. You may need extra parents to keep every one in line our have.mon.be autistic friend day and fri nt friend day at least in the beginning.

We do playdates with Grayson and @A MyAutismTeam Member 's son Ren. They're in the same class in pre-K and both PDD-NOS. They have a lot of fun, but require a little supervision so they don't get too wild. Too many kids usually cause Grayson to turn inward and not play with anyone.
