I am a single mom my daughter is only 4 and has been diagnosed with Aspergers' she is currently in the hospital.It's after the major holiday's and I know things are tight..I have a friend looking for help for me..I have proof of what I am going through now I am 2 hours away from my home and need to stay by her I'm away from my other children My 7 yr.old has Autism..Does anyone know of any grants or emergency help for parent's of children on the spectrum?? Ronald mc Donald doesnt make u pay if it's a hardship and they have refrigerators filled with food families can help themselves to,hope u were able to ask instead of not going since u didn't know I have stayed for free so i know they will let u stay

@A MyAutismTeam Member I've asked on my Facebook page if there is anybody in the Allentown area, or if anybody knows somebody in the Allentown area, if they would be willing to help a stranger in need and bring you something to eat. I'm still waiting for a reply. Just wanted to keep you posted.

@A MyAutismTeam Member I can ask around and see if I know anybody in your area that can bring you a meal. Can you tell me what hospital you're staying in and where it's located?

Try googling Respite Care in your area. You should be able to find someone who can come and stay with your 7 year old.
