A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

I never knew there was such a thing as an autistic service dog. Does anyone have experience with one or know of any more info about this?http://www.northstardogs.com/articles.shtml

We have an autism service dog for our son. He goes everywhere with Caden including to school. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have.

thanks! After doing some research I've found that a "companion/therapy" dog would be more beneficial than a service dog. Thank you for your responses!

My sister lives in florida and she just got a service dog for my nephew. He has autism. The place she got it from mostly only trains dogs for kids/people with autism. I can give you her email if you would like to talk to her more about it. Just send me a message if you want.
