My son now is seeing a therapist who specializes in ADHD & behavioral issues. He feels most aggression stems from ADHD. Also my son has a TSS that comes to our home after school to help my son with transitioning & his behavior. It's a work in progress but he is getting better.
We just learn this year from my son's (9) OT that is poor reading & reading comprension is due to poor eye movement. We took him to a doctor who specializes in Vision Therapy who tested him & my son was diagnosed with a binocular vision problem. He goes twice a week for therapy & after 24 sessions he will be test again to see what improvments he made. To help make more sincse of this many sport teams use this therapy on their players to help them track a baseball or shoot at a target. You can go to their website to have a better understanding of what this is all about. www.familyeyecarepc.com This should give you a better understanding of what this is & maybe you can find someone to test your child.

Thank you so much and I will start looking into those suggestions. It's just hard when you don't know where to start.

ABA is definitely a good idea if you can get coverage for it through your insurance or Regional Center. In terms of the aggression, I would make sure that the child is getting sufficient Omega 3's, at least 1000 mg. total DHA and EPA daily (we do 2 Coromega packets daily). Behavior Balance DMG has helped my DD quite a bit and it's inexpensive and available OTC. http://www.swansonvitamins.com/foodscience-of-v...
