Thank you. My prayer is that this will help in getting the things that each individual child needs help in. It is too hard to get help if my son does not meet the "criteria for speech & language now because he falls under the wrong DX category. He is better @ being able to be touched, meet eye contact and some of the other autistic issues because of a lot of hard work from a lot of people.

Want to add this, you as a parent have the right to have an IEP individual education plan, the school district can't deny that to you or your child. If you have any more questions please feel free to ask.

Because research has shown that the key differance between kids DXed with PDDNOS Rhetts Aspbergers and Autism is THE THERAPISTand not the child. They decided that there was no point in keeping 4-6 DX definitions when its all pretty much the same. So they reworked it and they are all considered ASD.
