I spent $150 total -- consultation with the lawyer and the two books. Hands-down the best money I've ever spent on my son. EVERY PARENT OF A SPECIAL NEEDS CHILD SHOULD BUY THESE BOOKS.

If the school district refuses to evaluate.... or if the school district does the evals but you don't agree with them, then you can request private evals at the the school's expense. Both the above mentioned book and the lawyer will guide you through that process.
