He is like Jeckle and Hide. With his parents and me he's obedient and nice. Only once in a while he may melt down if you bring change to quickly. He don't like babies or other children around him???? His learning center says he will not be able to go to kindergarten. His parents and I are heartbroken.

We went to a meeting for Logan yesterday. They are leaning more toward ADHD and ODD. They do not feel he is Autistic. He is a very auditory and sensory child. He does not like a lot of noise or people in his space. He reacts very aggressively. They will start him with a 1on1 aide for the summer and next year. His behaviors keep him from learning so this should help him a lot.

Now to be honest, those new diagnosis sound more accurate as I have a friend with a child with ADD and he behaves almost identical to what your describing in your grandson. Continue to pray and remain involved throughout the entire process and he will be fine!
It's great that they took another look at his condition, because a mis-diagnosis can definitely be frustrating for all parties involved especially the child!

@A MyAutismTeam Member okay that's great to hear, because it shows that he can be redirected. However, his mother may consider trying some of your methods especially with the glitter or things that keep him calm, as opposed to "holding him down" she must get to a point where he response to his behavior is unacceptable.
I'm glad to hear that you have a consistent event to attend for assistance. Here in Washington, DC we have resources but even those are limited. Have a blessed day and I'm praying that everything works out.
