Does anyone have a son or daughter around my son's age almost 5yrs old, near Maynard Ma.? I would love to find new friends to have playdates with. Maybe meet at a park or a fun place to play. If anyone is interested, I have the whole summer off with my boy, Braden. Thanks!

Whey my son was 3-7, I tried to put him in music classes, sports, gymnastics (explaining his diagnosis and my concerns and asking for their support). It is amazing how accommodating most adults can be. When he turned 8, we found the program of Special Olympics a good fit and continued participating in cub scouts, to the best of our ability.

I do not know of any playgroups but we take our kids to Senseability Gym in Hopedale, it is a great place for the children to play and the parents to talk while they are doing it.
