If you get your insurance through medikids, which is the paie portion of medicaid. You can get your services civered by medicaid, no matter income... that is if the insurance you select doesn't cover aba.
To me aba is totally worth it. It has change our liveaslearning about it and applying it with the help of a therapist. We are just starting, just finished evaluation and already have seen improvementes like never before.

ABA is a good therapy. But a less expensive and effective therapy is RDI.

What? That's not fair. What happened to me was that my employer has to add the ABA to their employees health insurance package. My employer said that it will cost the company too much to do that. So, my health insurance company will not pay for ABA, only speech and language therapy until my employer request for the services for their employees.

You can call colleges around your area that has students interning and have your name put on the waiting list for ABA therapy sessions in the clinic on campus. This is also true for ot, pt and slp therapy.

I personally think that ABA is definitely worth it. My son made lots of steps forward from starting ABA. She was so helpful in teaching everyday tasks he needs to better his life and everything.
