My sons therapist & case specialist want me to have some ideas of what 2 step directions I want my son to learn next. We already did "Get the Ball & bring it to me" & he mastered that one. So now we are on to the next one but I cant think of any. I am drawing a blank. I am sure there are a lot of 2 step directions to do but I need help coming up with some good ones. Please send me your ideas.
Get shoes and bring to mommy
Take off shoes and put away.
1. Go to the (kitchen, bedroom, bathroom)and bring me your (drink, shoes, towel)
2. Get in the car and buckle your seatbelt/carseat
3. Take your clothes off and put them in the hamper
4. Finish your snack/lunch/dinner and throw away your trash or put your dishes in the sink
Grab the wash cloth and wipe your hands/face
1. go get x and put it at y (where x is an object and y is a location.
2, do a and b. where a and b are actions such as jump, clap, touch, etc.
3. go get x and z where x and z are objects.
4. go to y and do a, where y is a location and a is an action.
if your child has auditory memory issues, the ones that have longer delays will be harder for him.
How about pick up and put on
Or pick up and put in
Or you could 2 step imitation.. Clap hands,do hooray.,
