For An MRI Is It Better To Do A Consious Sedation Or Full On Sedation For A Three Year Old?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

My three year old is supposed to be getting an MRI soon of her head and I was wondering about sedation. They were talking about consious sedation but I'm not sure what that would be like for her. Has anyone had a child
Go through it or anything? She has sensory issues with noises and textures amount other things and I was just wanting to know of she is going to d freaking out on them or anything

That's what I'm worried about. The noise and stuff. She hates doctors office, hates the hospital, hates loud noises, hates vacuum cleaner sounds. I think I'll call her pediatrician on monday

The conscious sedation put my son to sleep. He went in wide awake and when they pulled him out he asked what was wrong. They told him they were all done and his response was but you just put me in. He was unaware that 45 minutes had passed.
