I know I can use abacus from the Autism Ontario website and I know this is a long shot, but can anyone provide any personal experience with one of the ABA providers in the durham region area, perferably with in home service?

You should be able to get your own autism consultant from Kerry's Place as well. Not sure how Durham region works but there should be an autism intake service for that region. The autism consultant can coordinate and refer to both public and private services. We use alphaBee which may provide in home service in York. Good luck.

I also have a 6 year old boy with mild ASD. We have used in home ABA providers since my son was about 3 1/2. Sunshine Learning Centre, based in Uxbridge, Ontario, which is Durham Region. http://www.sunshinelearningcentre.com/
Also, My husband and I are trying to connect my son with another boy his age so he can have a friend. Is this something you are looking for with your boy?
