My son is a 4 yrd old autistic boy, he's still in diapers and every time he does number 2 he will put his hands in his diaper and take the poop out and start spreading it all over the place.

Had the same issue. While at home dress him in foot pajamas. Cut the part off that covers his feet and put them on backwards so the zipper is in the back. Made it challenging enough for him to focus his energy on other things.
Ur not along on that my kids do the same thing..
I would recommend potty train him soon , i guess it's easy to say than getting it done. We trained our son by not having him wear the diapers at least when he is at home and take him to the toilet every 2-3 hours , that really made him to say when he wants to go, the transition is messy and painful but at the end you will see a great relief.
