Here in Nevada Medicaid does pay for Personal Care Attendants. However, they way they go about authorized amount of hours can seem quite stingy. Also, make sure you thoroughlyinterview the agency as well as the PCA. If you have a family member or friend that could be your child's PCA they can get the certification and be paid as well. I was the office administrator for a local PCA agency for 7 years.
