Where Do Parents Shop For Pants For Boys?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

My son has such an issue with all clothing. However we have everything resolved but where to get pants. He won't wear jeans because they are too hard, he has problems with buttons and snaps. If we could find descent pants with the bar and hook type system I think that would be the best. Does anyone have any suggestions?

My son (when younger) would ONLY wear track pants. Shirts had to be plain short or long sleeved shirts. Every day was a battle. Now he will only wear jeans and t-shirts. I never believed he would ever wear jeans...EVER.

Does anyone have a child(ren)with shoe issues? My now 22 year old still has to wear slip on shoes (thank goodness for Van tennis shoes)since he can't tie shoes. When he was younger they made children's Velcro closure tennis shoes. When he outgrew those shoes he refused to wear old man Velcro shoes. I literally jumped for joy when I found "cool" slip on shoes to fit him. Socks? that is a story of its own.

my son is the same way. He will only wear elastic waisted pants. I can still find his size at K-Mart and Sears and Children's place. Next year I don't know what I will do. He can't wear sweatpants all the time. It is nice to know that there is hope for Jeans. I have not seen the kind with the pants hooks in them for kids.
