Does Anyone Have Suggestions To Help My Autistic Twins Learn How To Do Math Word Problems?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

My twin 11 year old boys are struggling in math and in particular with word problems. I have tried helping them break out the problems into steps and look for the key words to determine the calculation required but they still cannot do this on their own, even if the next problem is just like the previous problem but with a different storyline. Any tips or suggestions to help?

They are doing that to help memorize their multiplication tables (they can memorize entire books about their favorite subjects but can't seem to remember their tables!) so I will look for an app with word problems.
