I always say "baby steps" I know it's not easy but we will all get through this❤️

There is no set timetable unfortunately all children are different. My daughter is almost 10 and is still nonverbal. She is getting better and can say words unprompted but they are not all clear if you don't understand her. There is always hope and if the child is capable of words at all this is a good sign. It all takes time and you can't really force it.

My son was the same way. It seems like 1st grade is when he really started to put words and thoughts together. He is now 7, in 2nd grade, and is speaking in full sentences. He still has language difficulties (knows what he wants to say, but can't find the words), but it is sooo much better! He has been receiving private ABA for almost 3 years, and that really seemed to make a difference too. There are a lot of social interaction games they play that have seemed to help a lot.

What kind of treatments and therapies are you using? Do you do any special diets? B-12 shots?

I believe my son progressed after 5, he continued to add words and very short phrases after 5, but not fluently, of differs for children.
