My 4 year old pulls my hair so hard. Does anyone have any advice on how to stop this behavior. I've been told to give no reaction but it hurts.

is she only doing this out of frustration? i was told to walk away, do not react to it because this is what he wants (cause and effect). and it worked for us... now my son just started it again but he does not seem frustrated but happy instead... still ignoring it... but it is hard not to respond when he pulls out clumps of hair.
