I was wondering for both parents who work full-time or who are single parents how do you handle outside therapy and other issues with your children during the work week?

Do you already have outside therapy? You may be able to talk to the Social worker about assistance. There are companies out there that will actually transport the children to and from therapy. There is a boy that gets goes to my son's therapy who is picked up at school by an employed caretaker and then she takes him to Mc.Donalds before heading him back home. He is nonverbal and seems well taken care of.
Otherwise, in my own experience I make sure to set aside one day a week for all the appointments and therapies (as long as it does not exhaust your child). Try to find a job or work with your job to get off work early or not work at all that day. My son misses about half a day of school every other Friday but the school is ok with it since it is for therapy. Hope any of this helps! Its a busy life. Good luck!
