My son has low hemoglobin
Check with a Doctor. I think you need to be careful with iron and give the correct amount. I could be mixing it up. B 12 can be hard to absorb. Some people use injections and creme. I would also check with a Dr. I am not sure about side effects.
A regular Family Doctor or Pediatrician might be able to test iron levels. They are not always knowledgeable about Autism and GI issues that can come with it, but it is nice to get anything that you can covered through your child's regular doctor.
If the iron supplement is water soluble, it will not become toxic. Again, get a naturopath so they can test his levels and guide you.
Right now we are only using a daily multivitamin. I have no experience w/Naturopathy or oils. We were informed of the deficiency about 2 weeks ago, and the dr. gave us list of iron rich foods. Unfortunately, the way our life schedule works I admittedly do not get to cook as often, or as healthy as i would like to so i wanted to inquire about other options. I have never heard of Generation Rescue, but i will look into it. Thank you so much for the tips.
Yes. Our son is on the Gf/CF diet. Probiotic helps a lot. He had loose stools. He started to bite less when we added Kid's Calm vitamin with magnesium. We use Fish Oil. Our son calmed down when we almost completely cut sugar and lowered carbs which is hard to keep up. We used a natural metal cleanse from Bio Ray. He was sensitive to the product. We lowered the amount. (we were in a study) He did well for a while after the study ended.(he was also in therapy) We did not trust the maps Dr. that we saw. We are seeing a GI specialist that uses natural treatment. He prescribed medication to remove yeast and keep it down. He also prescribed Homeopath for metal cleanse. Do you have experience? Has anything worked? Did you ever work with Generation Rescue? They helped us get started. These are the things that stand out. I do not have as much experience with Naturopathy as a lot of people on here, but happy to answer any questions that I can. I just ordered an oil called Melissa that a team member mentioned. We are new to oil.
