So my husband got a job offer in South Carolina. So we are looking for a place near or in Columbia. We want to locate to a neighborhood that has a good elementary w a pre-k program for children w Autism. I have heard it is a great place for resources for autism. I just don't know where to try and settle in at to get the best help. We would be looking to rent at first. Any suggestions?? Thank you everyone!!

This may not be much help now, but in the future, if you moved up the coast A.I. Dupont has a good reputation for helping kids with a myriad of problems, and in DE, (I've been told) that it doesn't cost the parents anything. Just sayin'. :)

Aiken has a good autism program and your close to Augusta is close it has a good developmental pediatrician name Dr. Karen Carter she has adult son with autism.
