Hi I'm looking for some info regarding home schooling for our daughter. More specifically, home schooling a child with autism and other disabilities and what do you do, how does it work for you, etc.

I would love to connect with someone here in the Colorado area. We are considering a possibility of home schooling our daughter, by letting my mom do the schooling. We are wanting to talk with someone to get more info and to "pick their brain" to so speak.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks! I haven't been on in a while, due to family issues.

We did talk to a few people and haven't made a decision yet.

Thanks for the info! I'll keep it in mind!

I had to home school my daughter in High School becasue she was sick. I found the Home School association very good place to start. They know all the rules. The school must supply the other things you need like speech therapy and OT. Usually they are very understanding. I was a Special Educator and can give you any tips that I can.
