How Do I Get My 4 Year Old To Leave The Toilet Paper Alone?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

I've tried constant reminders that toilet paper is for using when she goes potty. It is not a toy. She wraps herslef like a mummy while taking it off the roll.

I have it in an upper cabinet behind a childproof lock right now. Before she potty trained, I kept her locked out. I'll look for the oral sensory toys to see if that helps.

You have to find a place to put the toilet paper up high. If that's not an option , maybe put childproof locks ok the bathroom door. It sounds like she has some sensory issue. She would benefit from a oral sensory toy..you can find it on Amazon. My son is going through this currently . He gets that way when he's upset or when he doesn't want to behave.
