DIY Senory Toy Ideas?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

I'm looking for some simple, preferably not too messy ideas for sensory items/ toys I can make at home for my 5yo autistic son. He loves water, beads, rice bins, etc, but I'm trying to think of new things to give him so he doesn't get bored, as he often does. He likes my keychain, so got him his own with plastic keys, and various dollar store keychain decorations, which helps a lot when we go to the doctor or dentist, but we need something new for home. I would love to hear everyone"s ideas!

You might find some ideas in the books in "The Out of Sync Child" series. One of that author's ideas is bottle babies. To make them, fill several 2 liter plastic bottles with water. Use food coloring to make each bottle of water a different color. Seal the bottles.
