The Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, MD is made up of the most expert physician in the area of pediatric brain disorders, especially Autism. My children's current psychiatrist, trained at Johns Hopkins University Hospital, did a rotation at KKI and highly recommends the facility.

I would go to either children's or Kennedy krieger since they both specialize in children. Georgetown is great but the other 2 are better

The Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore MD specializes in treating pediatric neurological disorders, especially all areas of the Autism spectrum. They have a CARD (Center for Autism & Related Disorders) Clinic specifically for patients on the Spectrum. They also have a separate program for kids who act out behaviorally plus are on the Spectrum or diagnosed w another neurological condition. They can do an over the phone Intake, they take insurance & give excellent 2nd opinions. They follow up with an email survey to determine what the parents are seeking (diagnosis, suggestions re interventions, medication management) & if they can help. I'm an Education & Family Law attorney & I've seen the local VA school districts defer more readily than in other cases to a KKI Assessment. Hope this helps!
