We had a really poor experience with Horizon Pediatrics in Mesa, AZ. Everything was great for a year & then when he began to have behaviors they recommended we find another therapist for OT. Sometimes OT & Speech would conduct a joint session but bill for 2 x 55 minute sessions. When I questioned this I became the difficult parent. Lastly, goals were established by the therapist without any discussion with me/parent. It's ok to question things that don't seem correct. Thx goodness we have much better therapists for Speech & OT now.

OT wasn't tested until 3 but we started speech at 2ish - and it had occurred to me then that it was a possibility

I noticed my daughter was different around 13 month, but she was not diagnosed till she was four and a half. She is now 26 and somewhat verbal.
