Help With My Sons Temper : 11 Year Old Aspergers

Hi, my son is recently diagnosed ASD, most fitting the profile of aspergers. He is a loving, smart, creative , funny boy, however, since he started secondary school his behaviour has become worse. He appears that he is unable to deal with disappointment which results in severe tantrums with anger and aggression,.

@A MyAutismTeam Member My 17 year old was recently diagnosed as well. Sounds similar in the way they react. We do cognitive behavioral therapy two times a month. He also started an antidepressant a year ago, and I must say it really helped him from having these angry outbursts. He admits he is a different person than he was a year ago. We are now on the 2nd one, Prozac first, Zoloft now. Trying to get it to help with anxiety as well.
