I tried a star chart. Everytime he went in to sit on the toliet he would get a star. When he got 5 stars he was rewarded with something he wanted. It worked ok. But i gotta say these kids of ours they will do it when they are ready doesnt matter what we try if they arent ready it wont happen.
The other thing i was told is give them lots of liquids and sit them on the toliet every 15 mins no matter what for three days. Every 15 mins for three days means staying home without wearing a diaper.

My son was the same way, it took a few weeks of practice with baby steps and videos helped along with watching dad, mom, and sister go to the bathroom. His aba therapists were also great in getting him potty trained!

My son hates for us to change his diaper. We get kicked every diaper change. My son is 5 he only sometimes wants to use the toliet. His star chart works until he has all 5 stars. Ps i agree boys should learn from dads at least thats what i thought too. My husband doesnt teach him anything about going to the toliet. Im learning that my son will be ready when he is ready. Until then hard times changing diapers is it.

My son doesn't like to have his diaper changed and they always say a little boy learns from his father but I'm about to be a single mom
