They aren't ready until they're ready. This is true for those without autism, too. But at least neurologically typical toddlers can be shamed into conforming. Autism by definition has no shame, or any conforming, either.

Thats how my nephew got potty trained from his OT. I potty trained ash myself 6 different times. She has had no regression in over a year. This summer i will work on public potty training. But yeah OT are great!

Yup. At first, but as soon as you figure out their routine it becomes a lot easier.

Our ABA therapists def help with potty training, our son has good days and bad days with it . I think if you talked with your occupational therapist’s that your working on potty training at home , I would think they want to help with that. We do every hour on the potty but we started with every half hour, then did every 45 minutes and now every hour. Hope this helps ❤️
