Where Can I Find A Support Group?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have a 5 yr old with HFA, adhd combo, spd, and pica. I was just wondering if there are any parent support groups nearby. I live in Jackson Center, PA, Mercer County.

You might ask the special ed or ec teachers, or contact the ARC of your area, and sometimes the psychiatrist or psychologist or counselor could have that info. If not, try to talk to the other parents in your child's group and maybe start one. The library might know, ours has events for parents to get to know each other.-It has to start somewhere with just one willing and determined person.-special Olympics might have some contacts. Good luck ;)
