I'll ask around. I don't think there's an Autistic Self Advocacy Network (ASAN) chapter in North Carolina, but the chapter's have been told to break off and become independent organizations, so there's a chance that there was a chapter and it's just already changed names. If so, many chapters allow both Autistic people and family members to attend their meetings.

I'll post a new reply if anyone I know is aware of a group like that in your area.
