going to try hemp oil. His hyperactivity is our main concern...they still don't have a bed at Cooks so we will play the waiting game...just trying to figure out what we can do in the meantime

Are you speaking from personal experience? Or just from reading? I have read a lot of positive things. The only thing I have read negative had to do with a study of children 15 and up. I have heard nothing but good things for younger children. Might I ask what you would suggest? My pycharist is not going to give my child the medicine he needs and he still needs something so he can function in his everyday routine. So again what other options do I have?

There's not much more I can do. My hopes is that they would find a medicine that will work for him

What changes do you foresee with the inpatient? You are the Mom and best judge of what’s good for your son. Also you have his best interest at heart. From everything I read inpatient only leads to a more compliant child. It could also lead to PTSD which is more difficult to diagnose in a autistic child. It’s a risk like you said and you must have done the cost benefit analysis.
