Let it happen, but keep mind that they may swallow them. If you have the nerve, and know which one(s) are loose enough to pull, then do it quickly or while they are sleeping.
I found that childrens hosp, have trained dentist that can help with this. When the tooth becomes very loose, they can pull it, without causing an Autistic meltdown.
Good luck!
I understand the anxiety with this! I send you hugs but I will tell you that my worries were unfounded! I was actually pleasantly surprised with how my son handled his teeth falling out. He didn't like it when they were loose very much and would walk up to me and point in the general direction of his mouth. I gave him motrin but the only thing that the loose teeth hindered was his eating. When they got really loose he surprised me even further by just pulling it out and handing it to me! I agree with watching the videos and checking into a special needs dentist. Ours let him come visit without ever touching him so he felt comfortable. I also got the play doh dentist set and it has all the tools so they can make teeth and drill etc. My son loved it and it helped him get over some of his anxiety. I wish you the very best!!
